Arrival Story:
The tuesday after labor day of 2002 my daughter saw a little puppy hunkered down in the middle of the road. He was wet, cold, full of stickers and shivering to death from fright. She took him home and cleaned him up, fed him and when he finally calmed down and fell asleep she started calling the police, the pound, the vet's office, just about everyone in town, trying to find out who had lost their "new puppy". You could tell that he belonged to someone because he was groomed and just looked "owned". After many futile attempts at finding the owner, my daughter arrived at my cottage on thursday with the puppy in her car saying that her landlord wouldn't let her hava a dog and what should she do? I was just walking out the door on my way to work around 10am at Lovett's Bar, (I was bartending at the time) so I said put him in the basket and I'll see what I can do. To make a long story short, if it's possible at this point, d.o.g. has been with me ever since and is the best "owner" this guy has ever had.
