Arrival Story:
Hugo was 6 weeks old when he was abandoned in a small town outside our home. We had been talking about getting an SPCA dog for a few weeks and we decided to go LOOK. The very first cage when we went into the kennels was the first and only one we stopped at. He came running out to us like a black little cannon ball and we were hooked. He's been with us ever since.

Bio:
At 4 months old hugo was enrolled in obedience level 1 for 6 weeks. There he met lots and lots of puppies and was, along with his boxer friend, the goof of the class. He'd trot along side mom just good as gold but as soon as anything with a heart beat came by he'd turn into a wiggle machine wagging everything from the shoulders down just begging for a pat or a few minutes to play. At 7 months hugo is now enrolled in agility level one and can not figure out why everyone is afraid of the wobble board. He hops right up there and surfs the wobble, keeping in time with his wagging tail. Next is the plank which is a breeze, but why are we supose to stop at the end mom? you know I can't stand still! The tunnel? Why it's perfect for "catch me if you can" I'll just lay in the middle and wag my tail and laugh at everyone trying to get me out. Scared of weeve poles? It never fazed me. Hugo also met his first mean dog. A beautiful Choc Labx with a pinch collar that was drooling to take a snap at Hugo which she tried again and again. What was hugo's defence? Wag my tail to death and crouch to play!
