Today I went fishing with Mom and Dad out in the ocean. We took a boat of course, but those guys slept in too late so the tide was waaay out and they ended up having to pull me in the boat most of the way :) We finally got out to this pretty big sand bar out in the middle and Mom took me out to go potty and play while Dad dug for bait. We were walking along the water in between to sand bars, and all of a sudden theres a big splash next to us and a monster fish swims by! Mom gets all excited and runs back to grab Dad back at the boat so I guess they can try and catch one. They grab all their stuff and walk back to where we were and then there were more big fish (sturgeon)! Mom and dad start tossing string with bait on it out there all the while these fish are just swimming around they're legs! I finally got mad and ran out into the water and started yelling at them saying "hey, why don't you just grab one!" but they don't listen very well at all. I finally got fed up with it and when one of the biggest ones out there swam by, I ran out and grabbed it by its tail! I thought I could handle it all by myself but those guys are strong! I ended up getting soaking wet and totally embarressed and ran back to the boat. Mom felt really bad for me so she dried my coats out for me and snuggled me up good the whole way back. Then we went back and saw grandma's dog Mia and I told her all about it, then we ate and passed out in front of the fire. Next time, I think I'll pick a smaller one to catch :D
