Sleeping on the waterbed, playing "find it", and sneaking off with shoes, socks, mittens etc. and adding them to the hoard of others in his "lair"..
Pet-Peeves:
The scary coffee grinder, vacuum cleaner, lawnmower, thunderstorms and when Mommy and Daddy smooch too much.
Favorite Toy:
A cat toy that looks like a little green bird and chirps when squeezed just right.
Favorite Food:
He doesn't get a lot of weird foods because of his "delicate" digestive tract, but he loves liver treats and "Catchum & Chewums"

Anywhere his Mommy and Daddy go.

Arrival Story:
After our last collie died, we NEEDED another collie; life without a collie is pretty sad. I checked the Tri State Collie Rescue in Ohio and found Tristan (then named Apache) and decided to adopt him. We live in Pennsylvania, but had to travel to Indiana for a wedding (where my family lives) and stopped to pick Tristan up on our way back home the weekend of September 11, 2004. He rode in the car for 9 hours like a champ.
Bio:
No one knows exactly how old Tristan is, but the vets estimated him to be about 2 when we adopted him. He was found as a stray in Ohio and a farmer was threatening to shoot him, so the good Collie Rescue people went and rescued him; we're all glad they did! He's a white factored, Tri-colored male with a white patch on his rump, and is the sweetest collie you could ever hope to have come into your life.

I confess...I really don't care for writing much. I prefer sleeping and eating and getting into trouble. My "sister", Toodie, writes enough for both of us, and then some. So, if you want to stay up-to-date on what's going on with me, just read her diaries...she's VERY verbose!

OK, so I may not be the best diary writer around, but I sure know how to protect my family! Suddenly, there are butterflies flying all over the place! They just appeared out of nowhere, and no one seems concerned but ME! Am I the only one that realizes how dreadful and scary these creatures are? I mean, I bark at them and chase them all over trying to get them away from my family, and my people just laugh! I realize they aren't quite as attuned to danger as I am, but honestly! Something as dangerous as a butterfly shouldn't be shrugged off and laughed about!!
Oh well. I'll remain loyal and dutiful....
Stay safe and beware of the butterflies!
