Arrival Story:
My wife and I had seen Comet running around the neighborhood for a month or so and started feeding him but he wouldn't get near. Initially he'd had a collar, but he'd lost it by the time we got close to him and no one ever claimed him. The neighbors had an Animal Control trap on their front yard, Comet got caught in the middle of the night. My wife snuck over there and let him go, but still couldn't catch him. After about 2 more weeks of feeding Comet hot-dogs on one raining, near freezing day Comet let my wife touch him and she opened the gate for him and he's been with us ever since. Since we've had him numerous people have stopped us out in the yard and mentioned the fact that they had tried to feed him, catch him etc... We sure love our baby boy!!!

Bio:
Comet was an emaciated 28 pounds when we brought him in and now he weighs a perfect for his size 53 pounds. It took a long time to completely gain his trust and he is still very nervous around adult men, but he is the best cuddle a woman could ever ask for.
