Quick Bio:

Likes:
He loves licking the inside of your nostrils.

Pet-Peeves:
He's treat and toy possessive. x_x Other than that, he is a typical chihuahua.

Favorite Toy:
He likes chew toys. He really hasn't played with any real toys yet.

Favorite Food:
Chicken and rice.

Favorite Walk:
He's a follower. H elike sto follow you, or he likes to follow Jeckle and mark where Jeckle has marked. He doesn't mind walking anymore, and will do fine if walked or carried.

Best Tricks:
"Praying" for treats--he will stand up on his hind legs, put his two tiny front paws together and just "pray" that you give him treats, LOL.

Arrival Story:
This past weekend I was volunteering at the California Underdogs Adoption Event (kind of, I'm of little use to them except for washing and taking photos of dogs, LOL) and this little guy caught my eye and heart. UPDATE: Well, looks like he's become part of our family. we are such suckers! But anyhow, please, please, PLEASE: California Underdogs still has many, MANY small dogs up for adoption, even one who looks like a short-haired Bobby Lee. Our family will always extol the virtues of California Underdogs and Lisa's Passion for Pets, so please, if you are looking for a small (or even big, sometimes we get bigger dogs in) companion for yourself or your other resident creatures, please stop by the store on the weekends after noon. The cross streets are 17th and Madison in Oakland, California.

Bio:
You really couldn't ask for a better chihuahua. He is sweet, loving, sort of lazy (LOL), petite (so he is carryable, if you like "purse dogs"), LOVES to be held and carried, and quiet. He gets along great with anybody; his only faults are but very small and understandable (he is a little bit treat/toy possessive around our other dogs, but when he does growl, he is very amenable towards corrective behavior). He is low maintenance as far as food and water goes, but boy does he love his treats! He will do tricks for treats, his best one being the "pray for treats" thing he does (which is something he did before we even started fostering him). He will also do the "pray" thing if he really wants you to hold him (he did it quite often during the fair this past weekend). On the whole, he is awesome, and we hope to find him a great forever home. UPDATE: He is really particular about certain things, like cats (I don't think he likes them much, so the more they stay away, the better) and he will get a little growly if he feels that you're too much in his space when he's chewing on a chew toy. He will be very protective of you when he realizes that you are there for him! He was neutered on 3/24. :) UPDATE: Yeah, okay, he's ours. He is part cat, part dog--he certainly behaves like a cat and can shoq a whole lot of treat possession if you're not careful (he can get vicious on the dog closest to him and has attacked Jeckle, our foster dog). He walks slow enough so that I can go at my own leisure (I walk with a cane...am partially disabled). He is particular about a lot of things, but on the whole he is a very sweet/loving dog. He DOES like walking with Jeckle though and will mark whevere Jeckle marks, LOL.
