Arrival Story:
Aurora was pulled from a shelter in March 2009. She was very underweight and her coat was dull & yellow. Her tapeworm & hookworms are gone and her belly is healed up now. She is looking better, her coat is getting softer, and she is gaining weight. She is well-behaved and a lovely, brown-eyed beauty.
Bio:
Her first day in the yard with the other dogs, they had to dig dig dig, of course. She seems to have been an only-dog & is finally beginning to play with the rest of the pack.
The boys have been spending day after day teaching her the rules of the games - tag, chase, keep away, etc. - and she just yesterday demonstrated that she understands the rules of tag. The girls taught her 'tandem digging' and she picked that up very fast. She is still a bit stingy with toys, but Pop & Gizmo will show her how to deal with that.
