Running wild with Zach

When Zach won't STOP sniffing her butt.

Favorite Toy:
Her "nake"....aka snake.

Favorite Food:
MEAT. Chicken treats. Anything anybody else is eating.

Favorite Walk:
Walk? I'd rather be carried.

Best Tricks:
Looking pitiful.

Arrival Story:
Moxie was adopted from Flawdogs Adoption after she had been found wandering the streets along with her sisters. Her foster mom, Nancy, knew she was really a special dog and wanted to make sure she had an extra special home, so she came to live with us.

We are obviously unsure of Moxie's age, so her birthday will be the day we adopted her. She is around one year of age....she has some really pretty white teeth! Moxie has only been home for 3 days, but has adapted extremely well, and is enjoying a life of being pampered. She definitely has Cairn in her, and her other features are similar to a schnauzer, so WHAT she is, besides wonderful, is a guess!

Forums Motto:
Moxie's got moxie!

A couple of days ago, I was rooting around at the edge of the yard like I always do, and my mom heard me yelp and saw me run. She knew something bad was in the yard, and went out in her shorts and flip flops to see what had "got" me. Lo and behold, my mom found that I had made a copperhead really mad. My dad chopped his head off with a shovel, and my mom took me and looked me over really good, but couldn't find a mark on me! My mom watched me closely after that, and got scared when I started to drool and my eyes glazed over. Unfortunately, my mom forgot I am a really deep sleeper, and I was simply taking a nap with my eyes open. It's been 3 days now, and I am fine. My mom says I am a hero, and my dad is really glad I'm okay cause he has REALLY gotten attached to me.

Well, today was my 3rd day in my new home. It has taken a little bit of adjusting, but my mom says I'm doing really good. I'm already learning commands, and I listen very well. I went for a 2 mile walk today, and I was sure ready to get home after that! Geez! But I did get to sniff noses....and other things, with a lot of nice dogs along the way. My mom decided I wasn't eating enough dog food, so I had boiled chicken for lunch today and then porterhouse steak for supper. MMMM, MMMM.....I sure didn't have a problem gobbling that up! Now I'm off to bed with the folks!
