Arrival Story:
We got D'Ago (pronounced Diego) at 6 weeks old from an American Eskimo breeder for $10. My dad was in the military at the time and had recently returned from Saudi Arabia during the Gulf War. He went to look at the puppies after work one day still in his uniform and the breeder, who was asking $50 per puppy, told my dad to take the pup for free "for serving our country." My dad gave her $50 anyway - two twenties and a ten - and the breeder gave the two twenties back.
