Arrival Story:
Samson was a birthday present from my parents. They knew I'd been wanting a puppy, and my mom agreed to go to the local Humane Society with me on my birthday to see if I could find a pup to bring home. After walking through the pens for a while, I kept going back to a large litter of 8-9 week old spotted white puppies. After some thinking, I decided that I wanted to look at a couple of these little pups. It turned out that they had all been spayed or neutered that day, so they weren't allowed to be seen while they were healing. We decided we would return the next morning to spend some time with the pups. We took two of the male puppies into a little room to play with them for a while. As hard as it was to take only one of the pups home, I decided on Samson because.. well, I don't really know why. There was just something about him that let me know that he and I would be a good pair. A few minutes later, I was filling out paperwork and my mom was paying, then we brought him home. A week or so later someone from the Humane Society called to let me know that all of Samson's brothers and sisters had been adopted as well.
