Arrival Story:
We found a breeder in NYC and went to see them. It was a small litter with only 3 pups. This one male pup loved us more than any of the others and the feeling was mutual, so we became a family

Bio:
Ludwig would go to dog shows and watch his sister Basenji, Astarte win most of them. Ludwig became a star in his own rite at the age of 5. I took a course in dog tricks and found an agent. He enjoyed performing so much. He appeared on The Guiding Light as a timber wolf in full makeup, Days of Our Lives, played Rin Tin Tin in Newdays 5th anniversary, played Rin Tin Tin in a Stroh's beer commercial with Benjy that aired during the Super Bowl, appeared in movies. He appeared on Letterman but not Stupid Pet Tricks, he got paid. He and his sister, Astarte howled (sang) in perfect harmony in protest when we had to go out without them. The two of them were a fearsome combination. If a dog came to attack them Ludwig would spin and touch their shoulder and the next thing you'd know the dog would be on their side on the ground. Astarte would bite their groin. We called it Doggie Judo
