Arrival Story:
Sissy came from a rescue that brings their dogs to a pet store on Saturdays. We had been looking for the right dog for about a year. When we saw her, we had to decide quickly. I was "test driving" her around the store when I overheard a girl telling her mom, "I'll name her Shadow, and I'll keep her in my room, and you'll never even notice her."

Bio:
Sissy was sweet with adult humans when we got her, but she didn't like children and she was agressive with other dogs. (She thought she was the biggest!) I read and studied and trained her. Now she is (usually) a very good girl!

Sissy came to us with her name. (Apparently she has a sister named Princess.) We couldn't agree on anything different, so she's still our Sissy. Her owners said she was a purebred Schipperke, but she has smooth fur and floppy ears. We love her the way she is.
