As Sasha's world turns...

Today is my Birthday...

Well, we celebrate today as my birthday. Nobody knows what day my real birthday is, or how old I truly am.

On August 19, 2001, Mommy & Daddy adopted me from the shelter. I had been at the shelter for 3 months waiting to be noticed. The shelter guessed that my age was 1 1/2 when I got there- so we chose November for my birthday.

The shelter named me Sasha- and Daddy wanted to keep that name for me.

I am a very lucky girl.

Hmmmmm....

1. I am an ambassador for my breed.

2. I am very afraid of flashing lights- camera's terrify me! Fireworks are fine- just don't flash any lights around me.

3. I broke a tooth once chewing on a bone (it was a synthetic bone made for dogs) and had to have the broken tooth pulled.

4. I lick my feet. I have allergies, I can't help it ;)

5. I rip up the mail every day- we have a mail slot, and I grab the mail and destroy it.

6. I am not a picky eater- anything goes.

7. I don't like the beach- what is the point? I am not going into that water!

Oh no she didn't!

Yesterday, a visitor came to the house. Mommy does cat rescue, and it was one of those crazy cat people. She was petting me a lot and I was liking it- then she kept trying to pet the cats- I felt like if she had a choice, she should really just pet me, so I kept getting in between her and the cats ;) Anyway, I was wagging my tail- people say it is like a weapon when I wag it. From where mommy was sitting, she saw me all of a sudden turn around and try to bite at this woman's hand! Mommy was horrified and yelled at me and I ran back to my bed. Then the crazy cat woman confessed- she had pulled my tail! Can you believe it? She did not want me to hit her with my tail while she was petting me, so she grabbed onto it- and when I moved, she did not let go! Imagine someone comes to your house and pulls your tail??
