Arrival Story:
I was born on a farm in Bowie Texas with my three brothers and sister in September of 1997. My father came over to the US from Australia. He was a great cow hearder. Even though I know in my heart that I would have been a great cow hearder, I have become a even better couch potato. I can truly say without a doubt, that I have been very loved and taken care of over my lifetime. I have too many hugs and walks to count. And yes, I have even hearded a few humans.

Bio:
Mom and Dad are both cow hearding dogs on a working farm in Bowie, Texas.

My Evil Twin

Well, luckily I do not have my picture posted on the wall at the post office...You know in the wanted section! A couple of days ago the man in the house "the alpha male..yeah right" was bothering me. My real owner told him to stop antagonizing me, but he didn't. I don't know what got into me, but the evil twin living within me turned around and took a little chomp out of his thumb...that will teach him. I can only tell you that I wish I had used a little more self control..The "alpha male" ended up at the human doctors office for a shot and medicine. Like I really could give him something..humph! Anyway, since then I have been kind of in the dog house. My female owner still adores me and gives me lots of love and hugs. The "alpha male" however pretends that I don't exist anymore. This works out well for both of us. I think the house may still be big enough for the two of us...and I do believe that I caught a glimpse of a smile of adoration towards me just yesterday form the "alpha male". It was either that or gas... I choose to believe the first. Hey loose and keep your evil twin in check...Wolf, I am out of here! Peace!

Breakfast

To my utter delight, my owner started feeding me a delicous mix of wet and dry food in the mornings about three weeks ago. Wow what a difference it has made in my life. I cannot wait to eat in the mornings now. I bark and make all sorts of noises until she gets out of bed to do my morning feedings...hahaha The joke is on her! I never thought mealtime could be so heavenly. I have more pep in my step and I do believe I am getting more handsome with every week. (If that is possible...see photo) Anyway, just had to let everyone know what they need if they are missing a great breakfast..Stay cool!

Breaking Away!

Well this morning for the first time in as many years as I can remember, I escaped out the garage door as my owner went to work. All I can say is WOW! I had so much fun. It was raining and no one was there to bother me. (Of course I didn't go very far) I was very stealthy in my approach of escaping, as usally my owner is very aware of where I am at all times. (Which by the way is usally on my back on the couch... see photo) But today was different. I escaped and went visiting to all my buds. Lots of barking ensued as they were unable to join me on the great outside. Hahaha.. such fun. The fun came to an abrupt ending when my other owner came looking for me. I was just minding my own business walking in the rain in the middle of the street. Oh well, I came on in because I knew that I could coerce him into getting me a bone... such greatness. Well, have a great evening, I am going to sign off for now. Have some business to take care of. I'm out! Maxwell
