Arrival Story:
I wanted a new larger dog for my dog Duke to train to be like him as he is getting on up in age. He also has dilated cardio myopathy. So I had selected a Newfoundland puppy who passed away with distemper and it broke my heart. So, I was back at square one, and there was Delilah, 10 months old, looking like an adult, and adorable. She still acts like a puppy in a adult body. Although, not completely grown, she is adorable. She had been there, and returned after a week. I do not know why, she is potty trained and a very respectful dog.

Bio:
Shortly after Delilah came into my life, I lost Duke the dog I had for 12 years, I got him shortly after I moved out on my own. He had been with me my entire adult life. I was devestated. Now, Delilah has been helping me heal. Not by being like Duke, or replacing him, but showing me a different love, her love. Being a new partner. She is certainly a character. She shows me new things everyday. Just as she is learning things everyday. Duke really loved her, when she was gone all day to be spayed, he waited on the loveseat looking out the window for her. He trusted her, loved her. There were not too many that Duke felt that way with especially of the larger variety.
