Arrival Story:
For her 7th birthday, poor Bella got the gift of being dumped. A kind lady named Barb who knew her owner contacted me. Her owner had a new husband who didn't like her, and a baby, so she was neglected and left in the yard. She was fat and filthy, nails begining to curl, ears so hairy I don't know how she heard. We met her owner at Petmart to get her. She came with nothing but a frayed collar and a leash - no food, no treats, no toys - nothing to show for 7 years of love and devotion. However, she cleaned up beautifully, and was an angel for it all. She quicky began to enjoy toys and treats and lap time. My father had lost his beloved Ralph a month before, and was eager for a new friend. I called him and told him what a little gem I had, and he was in the car on his way here the next morning. Bella loved him at first sight, and was taken to Nashville Pet Products for a shopping spree, on her way to being treated like the princess she is.
