Arrival Story:
I wanted a companion for my spaniel mix, Muffin, and found Cody through a newspaper ad. His previous guardians had a young daughter and couldn't afford to keep their two dogs. I was twelve years old and talked to the wife many times before she agreed to give Dakota to me. He came home on Mother's Day. Adopting Cody was the best $25 I ever spent!
Bio:
Cody was originally named Dakota, but my family started calling him Cody and it stuck. I believe he's a combination of Airedale and Golden Retriever, possibly with some Rough Collie and who knows what else.
Unfortunately, he now has dementia and arthritis, but he's still a sweet, loving dog...except around squirrels. He is part terrier, after all.
