We moved back to Chester County on Dec. 2. We love it every is so close. Right near the the Uwchlan trail the neighborhood is great. It's gonna be cold Monday and Tuesday

Update on my progress of my recovery from my hip replacement

Hi,
I'm fully recovered now from my hip replacement surgery that I had on Feb 18. It's been about five months. I go for longer walks. In May I went to my favorite place Cape Hatteras,NC.

Tomorrow I go to vet to get ready for my hip surgery

Tomorrow I get dropped off for my hip surgery. They have to do prep work and size me for my new hip. I am looking forward to the day when my hip won't hurt anymore. Life is full of things that we go through. In the end I will feel better.

Can't wait till Spring

All this snow is so annoying and ice. I can't wait till spring. May will be a good month I'll almost be recovered from my surgery. Wednesday is almost here. I'm a bit nervous. Don't know how long I'll be at the vet. Longest being 4 days. I know it will be a long recovery. But I also know I'll be better in the long run. Please No more snow. I'm a old dog with bad hips.

I have hip dysplasia

I found out today at the vet's that I have hip dysplasia in both my hips not a torn acl. My right one being the worst. I will have a full hip replacement surgery on Thursday Feb 18. I will go to the vet the day before and stay overnight. And depending how I'm feeling I will stay at the vet for 2 to 4 days. The recovery time is 3 months.

Torn ACL and Snow

I just found out that I have a torn ACL and will need surgery. I was going to have surgery at a vet in Litiz but it wasn't going to be till March 25. So we found a Vet in Norristown,PA that I see on Monday. I probably will have surgery on Tuesday. It's a 6 to 8 week recovery time. We're supposed to get over a foot of snow. The snow is blowing so hard and have a drift on the back porch.
