He runs in circles when he knows it is time to eat-and whimpers when our niece Veronica is here because he loves her so much. She is his second mom. He follows her everywhere.
Arrival Story:
Our dog had died suddenly. We were very sad. A month or so later, we decided to look at the dogs in our local paper that were up for adoption. We love dogs and had adopted our previous pet from a shelter. We missed her terribly. Knowing we could never replace her, we wanted to give our home and love to another needy animal. We saw Zeke his brother in the paper. He was at the local pound. We went to meet Zeke, and we saw Jake there too. It was the saddest place we've ever been in. Long story short, we adopted both of them. On December 19, we'll have them with us for 5 years. We love them and they love us and each other. They are so precious....

When Jake is sleeping he is always in the way.When you get into bed and put your head down he jumps on the bed and lays across the pillow.(Where your head is).So I'm saying he sleeps ontop of you.
