Happy April Fool's Day!

Happy April Fool's Day everybody! It has now been exactly two years since I first met my human! I haven't come up with any jokes to play yet, so I had better start thinkin' fast! Well, my human has made my party invitations, hats, etc. so that's a good sign! She just has to decide on a date and hand out the invitations now. There's still hope! Yay! I really don't know what to do for my joke. What kind of prank does a dog play on April Fool's Day? Hmmmmm............

Happy Birthday to me!

I just turned two years old last Thursday! Its so exciting! My human keeps trying to have a b-day party for me and my doggie friends, but never has the time. I know she'll find a way though, even if its a month late! Maybe we can have it this Saturday! Yay! I'm gonna invite my ma, who lives very close to me, and my friends: Coco, Billy, and maybe even Annie (but she can be mean to me sometimes). And of course Rosie, my foster big sis/teacher/grumpy adult will come, too! I can't wait! We'll play tons of games and eat yummy treats!
I got to go to this weird, noisy, windy place today and watch my human run around a big circle a ton. Lots of interesting smells and people, really confusing though. I don't get what those humans are chasing around and around that circle! Its so weird! And then there were even some throwing sticks and pouncing in pits of sand! I'll figure it out someday. I really can't wait for those HOT days when my human is home all day! Those are the funnest! Its startin' to feel warmer out, so hopefully summer is coming soon!
Rosie is giving me cow pup training. In the summer I go out in the fields with her every day to watch the horses. I copy her every move and she shows me what to do. She's been teaching me patience and attentiveness, and she's preparing me to learn how to stalk in on them, ever so slowly, ears pricked, tail low, eyes glued on the target. Its SO fun! I hate school!

I hate school, and I don't even go to it! My human goes away for HOURS, and it's SO boring. Then, to make things worse, when my human gets home, she still doesn't play with me because she has to do homework, and when she stays home from school because she's sick, she doesn't feel well enough to want to play! So, to keep myself entertained, I'll go outside and get into all kinds of mischief- eating manure, rolling in manure, digging up rocks and getting all muddy, chasing the cats in the barn, all kinds of that fun stuff- and when I get caught or try to come in, I get yelled at and sent to the tub (aka, the torture chamber of doom)! And its all because of SCHOOL! I hate it more than my human does!
Today was just another one of those days. I decided to bark at my humans to get them to play with me, but they just got irritated and shood me away. I haven't had much fun outside, either. I haven't seen my mom for quite a while. A cat scratched her eye pretty bad and she might lose her sight in it! I'm so worried, I hope she keeps her sight and gets all better. Well, I'm gonna see if I can get one of my humans to play some tug-o-war or fetch. They don't look too busy now!
