When mom comes home, and Vito tries to kiss her like he does - so he gets in Vito's way or sits in mom's lap!

Favorite Toy:
Squeaky toys, plush animals, his pull rope with a purple rubber heart attached, ohh..PENS!! KIDS!!

Favorite Food:
As he has allergies and can only eat Iams F/P or Versus F/P. 1 fish 1 carb,( high in omega 3's of course!) some of his supplements r .. 4500mg omega 3, tumeric,CoQ10, (heart),elderberry,(immunity),brewers yeast, biotin. he loves F/p cans & peanut butter!

Favorite Walk:
Around his over an acre back and front yard - he does have invisible fence which he is great with - except when he sees my nephews next door playing - he'll charge right thru! Walking on leash has to be done via getting in car to leave boundary!

Best Tricks:
Getting up on all chairs, jumping up doing his boxer boy box and leap! Sleeping upside down and playing upsdide down - silly boy! SMART SILLY BOY!!

Arrival Story:
My physical massage therapist( for my degerative disc, joint disease and fibromyalgia as well as other numerous non-terminal but life altering medical issues)...had been telling me how his step daughter, Erin, was fostering older pups of a myriad of breeds ( 8 weeks is considered old if no designated owner and big breeder has to have the room,) and how she had 2 boxers - one went to her husband's brother, and she still had the other one for almost 3 months, who she was calling Mac. I told him I was very curious about this Mac - ( Jake passed 10-31-08), and although i was not in the least ready for another dog ( i still can't look at labs) - something about the pictures he sent me that evening - esp. his human dark brown eyes reached out to me and i loved him instantly. The first time we met - i kneeled down, and he put his paws on my shoulders and got more kisses than i ever thought possible in a few minutes. His eyes were even more drawing and i saw and " old soul" in them and immediately i knew my instinct was correct. After a few meet and greets with Louie who i had at that time ( king charles Cavalier) - at Erin's houe and neutral territory, on December 12th, 2008 at 4 months and 3 weeks Mac officially was my new baby and came home with me to live forever! He was loved instantly by his grandma and grandpa who live next door as well as my brother, sister, and brother-in -law, who recently built a house next door with their 2 boys, soon to be 7 and 4 rs, who were so excited and I made them Mac's co-owners on his registration Papers. My sister is expecting her third child April 9th, a girl, and i knew my nephews would be thrilled to have Mac to play with and walk while their mom adjusted to being a new mom again! Mac loves childern so very much and all animals and all people reallly! HE is a precious boy beautiful inside and out and a beatuful fawn with 4 little white snips on each paw as well as lot of white on his chest all the way under his chin and a snip of white on his muzzle. He is very muscular and will be 8 months on the 15th of March and already weighs 61 lbs. He is such a joy, a love, a baby baby, as many boxers are - and i could watch him for hours throw up his toys outside and then do the famous boxer leap to catch the toy! He jumps up on the dining room table..just like Jake! And the pool table from a standstill! He is incredibly agile and amazinz to watch his spectacular run!! He is a great protector as well for me - and my parents next door and sister's family on the other side, with a bark hard to believe comes from such a young pup! He is intelligent and learned sit, shake, down, in one day! Come took a little longer and he also knows non verbal hand signals for sit, come, down and stay. ( stay still needs consistent reinforcement. He recently learned not to move until I release him from his "stay"! He is great in my over an acre yard - i have an invisible fence from my prior labby love wanderers especially JAKE - almost daily for last year and half of Jake's life - !!) stressed Mom out a lot looking for Jake and all the police in our township knew him! Thank god i alwasy found him or hercame home! Mac knows the boundaries and is excellent at not leaving the yard - except when he sees my nephews' playing baseball and he runs over and forgets - and runs so fast to see 2 of his favorite children - he probably gets less of a shock running so fast.. and then too scared to come back into my yard! He is no longer doing this and has not left the boundary in AGES! He is such a wonderful addition to my home and i Can't imagine my life without this precious soul..my Mac Jakeamus boxer box whom i love so.... He had some big paws to fill and it's amazing how animals touch us so deeply and while I said in Jake's bio - he is the core of my heart - Mac is right there alongside and i know Jake and Mason my cherished labbie boys on the other side of the rainbow brideg love this too!

Bio:
He originally came form Pottstown to Erin through a friend of hers who also fosters older ( 8 weeks !) pups and Erin readily accepted her offer of the 2 boxer brothers as she has more room and a HUGE heart! I am so fortunate to know her and so thankful she and her stepfather brothe rmac and I together! They know he is in wonderful hands and that i love him with all my heart and soul and will give him a wonderful, loving home - which is all they want for their foster animals.
