The Good life!

A day at the Beach

Mommy and Daddy left me and went to the Bahamas. They brought a bag of sand and some seashells back. Daddy forgot and let them on the floor when they left me all alone to go to work. I had the best day and was so proud of myself. I chewed a hole in the bag of sand and tossed it up and down all over the living room. A gallon of sand can make a big beach. After that I chewed open the bag of shells and spread them throughout the living room. When Mommy came home I proudly strolled through my dogmade beach. I am a littleconfused why Mommy and Daddy did not give me cheese for my good work.

Burr

No I am not cold, I am just always getting burrs in my fur. Mommy had to cut my ears really short because they were so full of burrs she couldn't brush them out. I also have had to have a few of my leg feathers cut off too because they were full of burrs. I love fall and the cold weather, but those burrs are really hampering my my life style. Mommy doesn't take me in the woods without a leash right now because she gets so upset about the burrs. She doesn't like hurting me and she gets upset about cutting my fur. My friend Hopeful and I get together at least once a week. I love her so much. She is my best friend. if anyone says her name i get so excited and run to the front door.

back to school stinks

My whole family went back to school and it stinks! I have to be home all day by myself. Mommy fills my kong for me to chew most days. I am a good girl, but I am so lonely. The boys are awesome when they get home. They take me for a bike ride walk. They ride their bikes as fast as they can and I run with them. Daddy does that most mornings before he leaves too. Mommy and Daddy take me for a nice walk in the evening. Mommy bought me a new collar that is bright pink and has my name on it. I got a matching leash too. Mommy says I am so pretty. The boys don't like it because it is pink.
