The Good life!

I don't like College

I don't know what college is, but I don't like it a bit. It took my big boy and now he only comes home like once every 6 weeks. It also made mom very sad for awhile. Mom and Dad keep talking about my little boy needing college in a few short years too. I have slept with mommy and daddy every night since my big boy left. I put my paw around mom all night. I am not going to let college get her too!

I have a big boo boo

I cut my back paw on something. It was bleeding really bad. Mommy held me and rubbed me. She took me to the doctor and I had to have surgery on my paw. They gave mommy this terrible horrible thing to put on my head so I couldn't lick or scratch. It is horrible! Everyone feels bad for me so they watch me closely so I have only had to wear it a couple times. Mommy rubs me when I hurt and sneaks pills in cheese. I have caught her several times and I spit it right out. No running, no jumping and no playing with others for 2 weeks. Hello, do they know I am an English Springer Spaniel? Those are the things we do best (besides catching groundhogs). I haven't had a walk in more than a week. I think I am getting depressed. Everyone feels sorry for me so they take me for car rides and they let me smell out the window. Daddy and Mommy have loved on me so much. I am sleeping in the center of the bed I let them share with me now.

Groundhogs beware

I am an official groundhog hunter. I have now killed 3 groundhogs. I thought Mommy and Daddy would be proud of me, but they seemed upset. I learned my lesson after the 2nd one not to bring the dead groundhog in the house. Daddy and the boys were really upset and told me I was lucky Mommy was in another state. Daddy and Mommy said I can't be off leash in the field any more. I am very sad. Mommy says the groundhog could hurt me or make me sick. My Aunt Patti says farmers and gardeners hate groundhogs so I am doing a good thing. Mommy says the farmers and gardners can hire someone else to take care of the problem and won't be me. Groundhogs beware... I am looking for you 24-7 and if they slip and feel sorry for me and leave me off the leash... I will help the farmers and gardeners.
