Arrival Story:
I was at the local shelter, brought in as a stray. No one came to claim me, and my new people just happened to be visiting the shelter the day I became available for adoption. They were looking for a companion for Tucker, and when they brought me outside to meet him, I rolled over on my back and just wanted to play. I was so happy to meet him, and we became instant buds. So my people knew I was the one meant to join their family! They'd never had a coonhound-type dog before, so this is a new experience for them. But I'm such a sweetheart, and very patient with them. They think I'm a wonderful addition to the family, and they all love me so much. Of course, how could they resist? I'm such a lovable, silly girl! My human mom wants to look into training me as a volunteer tracking/rescue dog, to make use of my fantastic sniffer! That would be cool -- any excuse to get out and RUN!!!!

Bio:
Iwas listed as a "Plott hound mix" at the shelter, but several breeders have shared their opinions that I'm a purebred Plott. I could have told them that, if I could talk! So now they call me a "grade" Plott (the proper term, they've been informed, for purebred Plott with no papers). So be it!
