Nicknames: Rudy; Mista Roo; Roo-Roo; Mr. Maroo; Rudy Jo
Birthday: December 27th 2004
Likes: I love to sleep! I'm definitely NOT a morning doggie! Also, I love to look out the back door and bark at squirrels; or just sit out in the backyard and bark, for no apparent reason. Also, I love sitting in the sun......
Pet-Peeves: Kind of gets to me when people always think I'm a girl just because I'm white! I am SO a little boy! Other than that, nothing much bothers me....I am an easy going kind of guy.
Favorite Toy: My sister Maddie is who I play with mostly; she is my big toy.
Favorite Food: Raw food. Mom fixes us good raw meat with veggies and vitamins! YUM!
Favorite Walk: Dog park, of course; or around the lake.
Best Tricks: I can sit, shake AND roll over! My cutest trick is when I "smile" at people ~ they seem so surprised!
Arrival Story: Well, my story began in Maysville, Mo where I was born. My future family began the search for me after Chester, their Yorkie unexpectedly passed on at 18 months. My mom always wanted a Westie (because we are SOOO cute.) They looked me up online and saw me and my brother. They took a trip (along with my future brother, Felix) up to Maysville to get me. When we met, I was the much bolder of the two, following Felix all around the place - I thought he was so cool. My little westie brother was pretty shy and just didn't make the cut. He was later adopted by a little boy and his family. Anyway, on the way home, they tried to decide on a name for me. Toby, Webster, no, no, no...... Finally, my aunt Robin saw a sign that said "Rudy's Cigarette Outlet", and stated that RUDY would be a good name - and we all loved it, even me! So, I was known as Rudy from then on. We got home to Olathe, Ks and I settled in with my new family. Gee, they even took me out to the dog park on my first day! Everyone there was in awe of me because I was so darn cute. Well, now every time I go to the dog park; even though I am a grownup at 4 years old - I still think I must be the cutest doggie out there from the way I act. I smile at everyone and follow children, dogs, adults all around. "Look at me! Am I cute, or what???" Mostly nowadays, my sister Maddie likes to roll me around the yard and get me really dirty, but I don't mind because I am a little boy and love to roughhouse! My mom takes me to the Barkery where she works and I have friends there. I love to "help" people wash their dogs and pick out good natural foods for them to eat; even though I am supposed to stay in the back room with my friend Lotus. I have a great life and I am very happy in it......My parents love me very much and I thank them by crawling up between their pillows at night to sleep.

2. I love my brother, Felix (he came to help pick me out when I was new....) Felix manages everything I do.....he is my big brother and pal.
3. I love my sister, Maddie because she loves to wrestle with me and chase me at the dog park and in the yard. She's really nice.
4. I love salmon skin rolls! Just had the first one last night......YUMMMMY!
5. I love to go to the dog park! LOVE THAT! I run around and visit absolutely every pup there and I SMILE at them.
6. I love to go to work at the Barkery with my mom, even though when they start moving big bags of dog food around, it scares me, so I have to find a place to hide. YIKES!
7. Last, but certainly not least.......I LOVE TO SLEEP!!! I am a sleepy guy all the time (except at the dog park...hee hee). Sometimes, I can hardly stay awake to beg at the dinner table when the rents are eating......"must......stay.....awake........" BOL!!
Well, those are the things I love! Now, what do I do........
I want to tag:
Hi everyone! Started out this beautiful Saturday morning rolling around the human bed (where I sleep), yawning and licking my humans, having Felix roll over me trying to grab all the attention and Maddie joining us from the floor. Well, here we all are! So, I heard mom tell dad (in a whisper) that we should go to the DP. Well, we all know what that is.....the DOG PARK!! Yes!! Oh, even before breakfast. First, mom has to have her tea and dad has to have his coffee.....then OFF WE GO! We got there to run, run, run.....and run some more. I very often go off with some other family because I KNOW they all think I am the cutest dog there; even more than their own, right? RIGHT??? Of course, that's right. Anyway, since it rained on Sunday and Monday of last week, it was a TEEEENY bit muddy out there. Well, we ran and rolled and barked and had the time of our lives. You know, though I am beginning to get a bit suspicious of my humans when they bring us to the DP. Know why? Because right after that, (and this has happened more than once...) we went right past where we usually turn to go home. OH NO, we are going to the Barkery and Bath where my mom works, for.....yes, you guessed it a BATH. Can you believe that? Just because we all had muddy paws and got the whole car muddy inside that they took us to get a bath? Yes, water in the eyes, ears and every other orifice that we have. YUCK. Then, the worst part. It's that high-power dryer that could knock the socks off a linebacker. It's that part I hate the most. I dip and roll and bite at the air, hoping the thing will die..... But when we were all clean and sparkly, we got to go back home and eat breakfast. I was so tired on the way home, I could hardly keep my eyes open. Later on, since it was such a beautiful day, we went outside with mom and she let us all have a yummy bison bone to chew! What bliss. Well, I am now asleep in the papasan chair with my brother Felix while mom is on the computer. Talk at ya later. Rudy
