Cats, strange dogs, any weather that is not sunny and warm, loud noises, not being fed at any given moment

She is not much for toys - but will occassionally tear apart a stuffie to get your attention

Anything!! She loves her dinner (raw diet), chicken chews, liver treats, hotdogs (terrible, I know - but she likes them!)

Anywhere!! Really! Just anywhere. She has such a love for walking.

Arrival Story:
I am a petsitter by day. One day I was walking in a neighbourhood and saw Jewels running free. After 30 mins of chasing her down and getting her to come (it wasn't so much fear as Terrier tunnel vision), I finally caught her. She was wearing expired rabies tags so I gave her vet a call. I was immediately informed her previous Mommy had passed away and the family gave her away to ;some guy'. After searching the neighbourhood, I had a few people tell me where she lived, so I knocked on her door. The man who answered took one look at her and said "Nope, never seen this dog before in my life." So I took her home!
I don't know what her life was like prior to my getting her, but she was the sweetest and timid little thing I had ever met. She has a fear of men, loud noises, other dogs, sticks, cats and quick movements. She had a bald spot on her bum that still after 4 years does not grow any hair. She is very smart and came mostly trained (but would not lie down near people at first.)
I wouldn't trade her for a moment and I am so blessed to have her!
