Birthday: January 1st 2004 Arrival Story: Walter (Wally) is a 5+ year old, 11 lbs Doxie mix who was rescued after he ended up in a high-kill shelter when his Owner died. He had been placed on the euthanasia list because he needed dental work for periodontal disease, which has been taken care of and he is now a very healthy dog and ready to find his fur-ever Pet Parent!
Wally is excellent at being a loving, attentive companion, as he loves to snuggle and hang out on the back of the sofa while you watch TV.
He also enjoys sleeping with you (under the covers, please) where he makes an excellent foot warmer! He gets on well with cats, enjoys children and adults alike and loves to go on walks and car rides. He is not a barker....
If you were to ask his opinion, Wally wants to be an only dog. Being mature, he knows how to settle in, so just show him your routine and he'll go with the flow......He would make a great dog for a semi-retired or senior-person as he is quiet, low maintenance and just wants "to hang".....
Wally is neutered, fully vaccinated, micro-chipped, dewormed and has had Revolution (flea/tick/heartworm prevention) applied.. Bio: Has a sense of humour and a personality not apparent on his photo's. I've Been On Dogster Since:
