Food and the Beach

Animals on TV make me bark like crazy and jump off the bed to get closer to the TV. I hate it when mommy goes to work, or comes home from work and then dares to go out again

Favorite Toy:
squeeky ball, my mom's best lingerie (when I can get a hold of it), and mom's best shoes

Favorite Food:
Pig's Ears (YUCK) and anything that mommy is eating.

Favorite Walk:
The Beach, The Park. Outdoor cafes where I get treats off my mom's plate and people say I'm cute and wanna pet me.

Best Tricks:
I really am too intelligent for silly tricks only meant to entertain humans.

Arrival Story:
My grandmother bought me for my mom. I am the man of the house now and I am leery of newcomers, especially boys.

My mom took me to Runyon Canyon for the first time. I was a champ and did so good. I went as far as my mom wanted to go. We're both a little out of shape, so it was a challenge. I recommend the trail to everyone. Lots of friendly doggies, off leash freedom and lots of good sniffage on the trail.

See ya there!

My new dog park

I'm getting used to my new dogpark. The dogs have been very friendly and there sure is a variety of personalities which I like to observe from a safe distance. The first few times we went mom went and stood on her own and I felt kind of sorry for her. I mean no one was coming to sniff her bottom or anything like they did mine. Maybe she didn't look cute enough but anyway today mom made some friends which is nice. She has been home an awful lot and whereas I do like the company, I can't help but wonder why she doesn't get out and mingle a bit more with her own kind, but anyhoo...

Mom was chatting to the same fellow the whole time we were there today and I can't help but wonder if that was why we got to go to the park two days in a row and had to be there at 7am. Also, she put on a bit of lipstick today which I've never seen her do before to go to the dogpark.

Doesn't matter really as it is a win/win for me. He had three dogs, all of them rescues. That made mom smile an awful lot, or maybe she was giddy to be talking to the boy but anyway, she does love rescue dogs and a boy who owns rescue dogs??? Fuhgettaboutit.

All of this guys dogs had wonderful personalities, not too hyper, really smart and very interesting. I think I could hang with them if mom sees that fellow outside the dogpark. We'll see. It's kind of like, As the Puppy World Turns.
Sniff ya later.
