Arrival Story:
I found Coco at the local dog pound in January of 2009. It was a New Year and I decided that Shane needed a "fur sister".

Bio:
She was approximately 1 year old in Jan of 2009. She had been a stray picked up off the streets. Guessing she is a Chocolate Lab/Beagle mix. Is only about 35 lbs. She was not spayed yet when I adopted her and when I got home, discovered she was in heat! It was a Sat. the pound had closed and I was not able to schedule her spay surgery until that Thursday. Her previous owners did not have her spayed or microchipped, guess they just let her go. She is a sweetie!

A whole year

It has been almost a whole year since I joined my new home and LIFE IS GOOD! I love my fur sister Shane, even though I like to aggravate her sometimes. :-) I REALLY love my 2 legged Grandma and Grandpa, they spoil me rotten. :-) I did manage to gain a little too much weight; just think, a year ago when I got adopted I was a scrawny 35 lbs and my ribs showed! Now I have a little too much pudge. ;-) I hope a lot of my 4 legged friends find new homes just like I did!

Happy New Year!

On Jan. 3, 2008 I found a new family and love my new home! My Mama loves me, as do my new Grandpa and Grandma. I also love my new fursister, Shane, we have lots of fun! No more eating out of garbage cans, dodging cars, sleeping in the cold and living at the county shelter! I might be little, but I am a ball of fire, much to Shane's chagrin at times. :-) I hope all of you shelter dogs out there are lucky enough to find a good home like I did! Happy Tails!
