Rugby!

The New Toy

I just got a new toy for her last Friday it is a frisbee from the west paw design brand (which is the only brand i can find that she can destroy besides her red knog). Anyway its orange. We went to the park on friday and i was throwing the frisbee for her for maybe 5 minutes when out of no where 20 kids show up for some stupid frisbee camp... this makes me sick not only cause i was there first but cause you know that this camp most likely is costing over $300 dollars to learn to throw a frisbee?!?! so they take up the whole god damn park for their stupid camp which is a waste of money and totally ridiculous. i mean basketball camp or like a football camp but really frisbee? Their parents should be shot... not in the head just like the leg or something.

So we went back to the park today was throwing the frisbee for her and another dog came and was running around on the other side of the park with its owner. So for about 15 minutes Rugby ignores this other dog until out of no where she bolts across the park (she must have got bored with the new orange friss or something). So the dog sees her coming and starts to chase her and Rugby was loving it... the other dog was pissed, it was growling and barking at her and Rugby just wanted to play, shes a brat! she just wanted to get chased and then she runs behind me like im going to protect her from this trouble she had just gotten herself into.

The other owner came over and there was no fight but still rugby is a brat and she loves to start trouble at the park. i also think older dogs think shes annoying.

I also figured out that Rugby doesnt like men... she will bark at guys all the time but is really nice to girls im trying to fix it but she really doesnt like them for some reason which is weird cause i live with 4 guys and she likes all of them

Bed Time!

Ok i know its late but something amazing just happened. usually before i go to bed i spend an hour or two watching law and order svu... having netflix and xbox live it makes it really easy, im on season 7 and there is about 22 episodes per season so you do that math about how many hours i have spent on this show and how dark my thoughts/dreams have been lately.... anyway so i spend this time watching law and order svu before i go to bed and rugby lays in my bed with me until i pick her up and put her in her kennel which usually she hates to go into and she struggles a little but when i finally get her in i usually just say "bed time" for fun.... so tonight i said bed time and the little brat jumped out of my bed and went into her kennel on her own cause she knew it was time for bed! how crazy is that?!

i found a stick for rugby at the park 3 days ago but today i threw it for her and it broke in half :(
i also am teaching her roll over but she only likes to roll over to the right and she wont do it to the left.
and today we may of had a break through in her fear of sewer drains....

ok now its time for me to go to bed... rugby is snoring.

Today i was reading up on labradoodle development stage and learn that rugby is in the teenage stage... This would explain why she is being such a brat lately by not coming to me when i call her and pretending she doesnt hear me.

I read that i need to make sure that she knows not to leave my side and that i need to teach her to come when she is called. It said to have her on a leach 100% of the time when out of her comfort zone, so i did. I hope it works cause she is being a brat... she peed in my roommates bed today... that was funny but she wasnt laughing when i kicked her in the head and threw her out of a 2 story window! just kidding. i dont know why she likes to pee in my roommates rooms and not mine, maybe shes trying to mark her area. the vet said that dogs do that if they arent in their 'den' and since her den is kind of my room that would make sense.

Also i let her sleep in my bed the last couple of nights and i think that might be why she is being a brat to.
