It's my birthday!

I am officially one year old today! **dances around & chases tail**

My BFF Cindy Lou (a friend's doggie (non-dogster)) is over today & we are having a ball!

First I chase her then she growls at me & chases me back. She's a lot smaller than me so mom said I have to "play nice." BOL

Mom got me 2 of my favorite toys ever...Those little stuffed duckies that quack. She usually gets me one whenever she gets paid but I am very rough with my toys & they don't last but a few days.

So she said maybe 2 of them will last a bit longer. So me & Cindy Lou have been playing tug of war with one of them. bol

She can't believe I'm a year! They've only had me since February but man have I grown! Mom says I'm getting a bit uh wide in the sides, kinda like her. **giggle**

Mom pawromised she'd be putting up some new pics of me soon. Seems like all my catsibs are always getting new pics, but not me! But she said I'd get some new ones so I'm excited!

Home again home again...

Well mom came & picked me up from the vet's this morning.

The vet said I was a very good girl & did totally pawsome during & after the surgery.

He said my belly bruised a little, but otherwise all was well.

So me & mom are in the car driving home when she hears that tell-tale sound of a animal about to hurl. She glance behind to check on me & pulled over.

It was very yellow & foamy & mom was worried & called the vet who told her it was okay. That since my tummy has been empty it was most likely some bile (the yellow color) coming up because I was sick to my tummy from the knock out gas.

He said as long as I don't keep throwing up I should be okay. So far that was the only time I did. Though I have not eaten much at all & wanted nothing to drink yet either.

Mom snapped a few pictures of my belly & my leg where my dew claw used to be. **so embarrassing**

But I am home & am resting comfortably. Mom is guarding me from the kitties because they want to take advantage of me not feeling good & pounce on me. bol

Spay day!

Well mom just dropped me off at the vets office.

I guess this was supposed to happen a week ago but she had to put it off.

So today she told me I was going to the vets to stay overnight. I told her I didn't want to but she was pretty insistent so what's a doggie to do?

Here is what the nice vet guy said he was gonna do:

Spay me
Trim my nails
Give me my puppy booster shot
Remove my dew claws

Mom was glad he was removing my dew claws. She said they are odd & each have 2 nails growing from them. I tend to get them caught on stuff easily & she doesn't want me to snag them one day & hurt myself.

The vet said it's just a skin flap like a mole, only with claws. That gave mom a bad mental image. BOL
