It's a rainy, icky day outside and Foster Mom has decided that there is enough mud indoors, so she's banned us from constant play time outdoors. Someone *not me, I swear....this was before I was here* dug up the yard and trampled the grass, so it's pretty much a mud hole.
Foster Mom says, "Am I fostering pigs?"
I say *wags tail*
Foster Mom says, "Are you digging your way to China?"
I think **Don't they eat dogs in China?**
Foster Mom says, "Everyone be good and take a nap."
I say *zzzzzz*
So today is one of those days when I curl up and think about going into a new home. Of course, if I could, I would stay in foster care forever. I LOVE it here. There is always someone to play with, great food, some kids, cats, puppies--alright, I could do without the puppies. It's just nice to be wanted and loved. Foster Mom didn't have to take me, but she wanted me here. That's good to know.
When I find a permanent home, it will be because someone saw me and thought I looked like a great dog. You know what? I am a good dog. So many people tell me I am so it has to be true.
So I'm going to dream about a yard with grass and kids playing and maybe another dog to play with me. I'm going to dream of walking on the beach and down a wooded trail, or lying in front of a fireplace. Or just being in a home.
Sweet dreams....

Northwest Indiana is a lake! Or at least the back yard seems to be a lake. Good thing I like water. Speaking of showers, Foster Mom decided I was stinky and gave me a bath.
I LOVED it! Wagged my tail the entire time. Nothing is better than some great smelling shampoo, a warm shower, and a towel waiting at the end. Plus, I look so handsome! Foster Mom said under all that dirt is a very good looking dog.
So now that I'm all cleaned up and ready for home, I'm excited. I would love to be with another dog and with kids too. I'm very loving and such a good boy, or at least that's what I hear all the time.

I have a new bestest buddy in the whole entire world and her lyrical name is Oreo.
Am I waxing poetic? Did you cock your head to the side and wonder where such sweet musings came from. Well, I will tell ya...it comes from a little thing called love.
Yup, I am in love with a girl named Oreo. We wrestle, bite each other, play chase, all the great things two altered dogs can do together. She isn't a dainty flower afraid of getting mud on her paws. She just likes to be with yours truly.
Fun Fact: Oreo and I both came from the same shelter. I think that's just a little bit of fate, don't you?
Anyhow, if you would like to adopt two dogs, we could go home together, but it's not necessary. For now we're happy getting to play together and with the kids in our foster home.
