Hello Dogster! I'm Henson!

Hello Dogster, I'm Henson. I'm called Henson because I look like a muppet - especially when I hear something interesting and I prop my ears up, like they are on strings controlled by a puppeteer :)

I am assumed to be a Wheaten Terrier/Basset Hound mix, or as I'm lovingly referred to as 'a wheatable'.

I am heartworm positive, and currently undergoing heartworm treatment. PLEASE USE PREVENTATIVES! No dog should ever have to go through this treatment. Its painful, it makes me tired and cranky, and I have to be inactive for over 2 months because of the stupid worms.

And thank you Duncan and Tiller for giving me the wings to fly out of that shelter and into the life I was meant for = just being a regular, happy, healthy pet dog. We are forever grateful to your efforts.

And thank you to Dogster.. Because of Dogster and its super members, Henson is here with me in my home and not sitting in a shelter during this difficult time in his health/life. So thank you Dogster, I hope the adoption function of this site grows and flourishes so more dogs like me make it out of the shelter system safely. I believe in you, Dogster!
