Arrival Story:
My sister found my big boy two months prior to leaving her home in Texas. When she drove to a farm to meet him - she called to let me know that he and his sister were inseparable and together we decided that she would bring them both to Alaska. Two lab puppies and her basset hound made the 3,745 mile road trip with just one tiny incident of peeing in a cup holder. Not bad... and they have been mellow yellow since their first day home. ------> Enter Scout. Six months later I was playing with my labs at a lake when a couple approached me with a puppy that they had found it outside during a cold snap, could not find the owners, and could not keep her. She came home with me a few days later as a foster -- we all feel in love with the little firecracker and couldn't let her go.
