Not the baby any more

I've been elevated up the chain of command with the addition of the new kid - Kate. She's got my markings and Jack's hair length. And darn it if she isn't related.

Being the baby has been my job for four years. I will hand over the job however reluctantly. Now I'm the BIG sister. Kate's a good kid; I'll take good care of her.

Happy Birthday to ME!!

Good morning everyone. It's my birthday. I'm three today.

We celebrated my birthday yesterday with a run with dad. There were turkey treats for us all for dinner. This morning I got an extra muffin! They are my favorites. Mom snuck it into my bowl while no one was looking. I even got a dab of whipped cream on it. YUMMY! I love birthdays.

Burli came to stay with us last week and it's been a blast! I give Jack a run for his money and have energy to burn. This new pup is keeping up & then some! And she's a beauty, isn't she? :)

The backyard has become a racetrack and we three are running with dad at the river and going in the truck with mom all the time. It's just go, go, go. Who knew that adding to the pack would be so much fun but it is.
