It's Mommy's birthday in a week! She'll be 22! Mommy and Daddy have been discussing what to do for her special day, and she says that all she wants to do is take me to the dog beach in Annapolis so I can play! I don't get to go to Dog parks that often, (the trainer says the chaos is not so good for me at this stage of my training,) so I am even more excited then ever! Even better- my cousin Skittles gets to come too! She's not a swimmer, but she loves to stand halfway in the water and bark her head off!

Mommy usually stays home with me all day, but yesterday, something happened.
She gathered her papers, her pencils, her phone and her purse, she got dressed, she pulled her hair back- all signs pointed to a walk. I was right, at first. We DID go for a walk. But when we got back, I went to get some water, I heard the door close, I turned around and-
I was alone. (with the cat.)
She had gone to...a meeting.
In revenge, I began to plot. First, I jumped up onto her work desk, pulled her panels off the table, and walked back and forth across them for a while. When they were suitably bent and muddy, I wandered into the bedroom, where Mommy's large and splendiforous stuffed bear beckoned from the bed. Many times I had gone after him, only to be told, "no!" This was my chance!
I grabbed him and dragged him into the living room. He's a biiiig bear. Bigger then me! I started with his right ear. Om nom nom. I chewed it off. And then I moved down the side of his face, ripping off the fur and exploring inside.
Ooh, he's got styrafoam in his head! Ooh, it's so fun to bite! Ooh, it looks like it's snowing inside!
By the time Mommy got home, 6 hours later, I had destroyed her comic book panels, her important stuffedbear, a hairbrush, a nail file, and eaten a whole box of cereal. My tummy isn't feeling so great today, but I have no regrets! I even got to go for a ride in the car to the vet's office, and then to Petsmart! They got me something called a 'crate', which I kind of remember from a few months ago.
I hope it's a metaphor for 'treats'!!
