 Quick Bio:
 Birthday: June 1st 2008
Likes: sticking her head in the shower, following you around, snuggling

Pet-Peeves: she hasn't shown any yet... maybe when you don't go outside with her.

Favorite Toy: Her fish beanie baby or her rope

Favorite Food: She likes butternut squash soup, but her new family will have to find a specialty for this Queen!

Favorite Walk: That's for her new family to determine!

Best Tricks: We are hoping to start training soon, so we'll find out!! Or her family will first.

Arrival Story: Angel is our foster pup. She just got out of the Brooklyn shelter the other night and is enjoying her foster home while she recovers from surgery (she's a spayed angel). We don't know a lot of her history, but she's got a big scar on her side and she is very quiet. We do know her current status. Her shelter name is Queen, which we are doing our best to treat her like one, but she is so sweet, we call her Angel. Her foster siblings Desi (a 16yr old Collie mix) and Charlie (4 yr old Rhodesian Ridgeback mix) love to have Angel in the house. Charlie and Desi were looking to have some company in our big house and to share our big yard, so we decided to help out some shelter friends while the perfect family is looking for them.

Bio: Angel loves to sleep! When it's time for a nap or to go to bed she konks out and won't budge! She is house trained and will sleep of the day until you are ready to get up, then she is ready to go out for her walk or out to the yard to go to the bathroom. She is a good eater, but she is small so really doesn't eat too much. Right now she is on medication from her surgery, and doesn't whine a bit to be treated. oooohhh how she loves to play with Charlie. They have been running back and forth, back and forth through the halls, out to the yard, up the stairs, playing keep away. Angel is great with other dogs and thus far has been very receptive to strangers. She does not bark when the door rings, but will go with you to greet the guests. She asks before joining you on the couch or bed (I allow it though). Angel loves to lay her head on your lap while you have your morning coffee and catch up on dogster.

Day 3 waiting for my perfect owner! Well I'm still here with my foster family. We are having lots of fun, and I'm practicing good behavior. We got up and went outside, but it was still a bit too chilly for me so I went back inside and laid down to watch animal planet. Later we played around the house (me and Charlie my foster brother), then we went for a walk to the park! I am so good on a leash (I probably don't even need one!). I'm good at staying right by my foster mom and not ever pulling on the leash. I must be something cute because everyone stops to compliment my good looks and good behavior :)
So, I'm still waiting, and in the meantime I'm having fun with my new friends. We repotted some plants a bit ago; well I just watched, but I was told I was being such a good girl. I bet that helps. Then I took a nap, and now I'm just playing keep away with Charlie. E-mail me if you want to play!

Hey there. My name is Angel (well, the shelter has me listed as "Queen"), and I am just hanging out right now with my foster family. I'm just chillin' on the couch by my foster mom and my foster brother, Charlie. My foster sis Desi (she's an old girl, 16yrs) is laying on the floor, keeping an eye on us to make sure we behave how we are supposed to. I feel so happy to be out of the loud, wet, shelter and to be here all snug on a soft couch, just listening to the sounds of my foster mom typing away trying to find me an even more perfect "forever" home! I can't wait. I didn't have the best life before the shelter, but I'm a young girl (almost a year old) and I look forward to my bright future. I have high aspirations for myself. I am already a great friend to all those around me. I play with Charlie (my foster brother) and keep him exercised, but I also like to lay and snuggle with Desi. I want to be educated; my foster mom plans on taking me to obedience training. I'm great now, but I want to be the BEST! I love a warm bath, good food, and staying in playing games or just talking. I'm working on being the "outdoorsy" type. We have a big yard right now, but I like to be with others when I go out to venture. I do love car rides though! I like to sit and look out the window and just watch life happen all around. I can't wait to find the perfect family who will give me everything I wish to give them. So if you think you might be good for me, please contact my foster mom! I can't wait to meet you!
