My 10th Birthday

YAY...today is my birthday. I forgot all about it until mommy woke up today and first thing she said was HAPPY BIRTHDAY BABY BEL....she calls me baby bell sometimes.
Anyway, I got a cake and ice cream too. Mommy took pictures of me before I could eat any cake though and then she let me sit on her lap the WHOLE time she was on the computer even though she says it hurts her back to lean over me....I'm just happy to sit here with her.
Hope everybody else had a great birthday today too.

A New Little Brother????

Are you kidding me??? Mom and Dad brought home a little boy today. He's so skinny and funny looking...and he smells so weird! He's not even NEUTERED!!! OMG!
Mommy said that would be taken care of next week but no one asked me if I wanted him here.
He says he had it pretty rough at the shelter and before that he was left out on a roof when the family left or moved away. He said that men from the fire department had to come in a rescue him and took him to the shelter.
He sneezes alot...Mom said he caught a cold at the shelter....I HOPE he doesn't give his germs to ME!!!
Oh well, I guess he's okay for now. He's not being a pain or anything....at least not yet. I'll let you know if he's a jerk later on.

No more drops!!

Well, mom and dad took me and Pea to the vet the other day and he says that my eyes are not working hardly at all (duh...I could have told him that),, and he told my mom that the drops really aren't going to do any good so ...YAY>...I don't have to get them anymore!
Dr. says I have a bad retna or something...I don't know..all I know is I can't see a thing out of my right eye and not much at all out of the other one...but I'll show them..I get around just fine as long as nobody moves the furniture and remembers to push in their chairs.
Mom was upset that I'm blind but I keep reassuring her that I'm happy and show her that I can still play and cuddle.
Other than that...Dr. J. says that me and Pea are very healthy and doing really well. He could hardly even FIND my heart murmer!

My cataracts

Mommy is trying these eye drops on me for my cataracts. She said I am not a good candidate,(what ever that is) for eye surgery because of my size, age and I also have a little heart murmer.
She found out about these drops online while looking up things about doggie cataracts. She said that they are kinda expensive but it doesn't matter because she'd do anything for me to help me see better again.
We have been using them so far for 5 days. I will keep you posted on how they are working.
They are called Can-C eyedrops. Mommy said if anyone out there has used these to let me know how they worked and I'll tell her about what you said.

Today is Saturday...my mom helped me take a quiz on dogster called "find out what celebrity your dog is...or something like that.
I came out as OPRAH!!! OMG...I KNEW I was really cool! Choke on that Mimi!!
