Bio: Summer is a brindle colored dog. Some say she looks like a great dane/pit bull mix. She loves going to the vet where she gets to sit on the furniture. She has participated in and placed in an Easter Parade, a Father's Day event, and a Halloween Parade. She graduated training at the top of her class. Summer loves every dog and person that she meets. I have been living with cancer in my hind right leg since about August. My slight limp turned into steadily worsening lameness and swelling. Now my leg is about 2 times the normal size. Mom is worried that it might start bleeding. I am on Tramadol and Rimadyl. I get to eat canned food 3 times a day with my meds. I pant a lot, and mom offers me water. Mom looks at me and wonders. I know what she's thinking. We both wish things were different and we don't know how long I will be around.
Went to the vet on Friday because my leg hurts so much that I cried last night. He said I have a tumor on my leg bone. I'm on pain medication right now. I feel better with it. My parents are giving lots of extra attention now too.
