Arrival Story:
Trixe (formerly Pat C Uphill) is a retired racer that we adopted from Greyhounds as Pets of Northeast Florida. She was 3 years old when we brought her home and had never been in a home before so everything was new to her. We had to teach her how to walk up and down stairs and how to ask to go outside. Trixie is a gentle and loving addition to our family. If you pet her, she will stand at your side and lean up against you. She love children and lets them hang all over her. Trixie was a stakes runner when she raced, but has zero interest in running anymore. We go for long walks, but she generally refuses to run. Trixie has hit paydirt in retirement.
