I worked at a co-op and one of the drivers brought this little black furball in and asked if anyone wanted it, he had gotten it from some guy in a PU, giving them away. he's been my constant companion ever since.
Bio:
grunt had 4 legs but one winter the chains froze in the back of the PU and I let him go into town without being hooked in....big mistake because he saw 5 deer and flew over the side, broke his femor and I had it fixed 3 times (most expensive buddy I have)but the forth time the vet said NO WAY! it has to come off.....so he's a tripod that is just as fast as my redbone with 4 legs.....don't ever let anyone tell you a dog can't make do with 3 legs!!!!!

well, my mom went an done it.....look at me! she sheared my hair off and do I itch...what did she go and do that for??? well, I guess she was tired of seeing me pant from the heat, guess I do have or did have some of the thickest undercoat ya ever saw!!!
I guess I can live with this for the summer....it's kinda neat. madmax already looks kinda like me but he didn't need a hair cut. well cya hope ya all have fun this summer, I know I will.....heck I saved a chicken from a falcon or some kinda bird the other day.....I got a bone for that!!

I used to round up the roosters and horses in CO and it all came back to me after mom urged me on today!! what fun chasing those roosters into the coop!!! we only have 4 of em here but that's enough and I kinda like chasin the darn things yee haaaa. ooops there goes the cowdog in me hehehe. max and I get after the grave diggers (those are ground squirrels) that get in the garden all the time, but they get in their hole before we can get em!! one a des days!!! see us 3 leggers can do just as much as you 4 leggers and mom clocked me at 15 mph, had the ol' tongue draggin but I can do it!! well we gotta go out in the yard now cya later woof woof

wow I can't believe I get to have such a great life, we've always lived on a big ranch or 20 acres like now, my mom adopted me when the nice driver picked me out of my brothers and sisters....I've been under her feet ever since and don't ever leave her side if I can help it. my mom is old as dirt (65) but she try's to keep up with me and max...'course we leave her in our dust when we go for walks, hahaha now she drives and lets us run our energy off! well time to chow down so see ya later
