Nicknames:
G. Lee, Mama's Dog, Rooter Patooter, Scow, Moocher, Fussy Budget, Old Puppy

Quick Bio:
-mutt-dog rescue

Likes:
Getting smooches and fawning; also rooting around outside

Pet-Peeves:
Being closed out of any room we are in

Favorite Toy:
Her housemate, Cissy

Favorite Food:
Anything she can find (hence the "scow" and "moocher" nicknames--she is shameless about stealing food)

Favorite Walk:
Local college, local cemetery

Best Tricks:
Impression of a 3-month-old puppy. Also her complete inability to "scootch" over in bed to make room for us.

Arrival Story:
Saw this little red puppy while driving by a dumpster. We stopped, she came limping over to me and of course we brought her home. X-rays showed several fractures and poor healing of one of her legs; the vet said she would never lose the limp. Shows what he knew....

Bio:
Gypsy is an absolute joy. Her tail never stops, she loves to play with Cissy, she gets so excited when we come back from being away that I worry about her keeling over from excitement. This is one VERY happy dog. We expected to see serious arthritis by now but she is as limber and active as a young puppy--dashes all over the place on her walks and leaps with joy when it's dinner time. No limping, either. This is the best dog (of many, many) that we have ever had.
