Time to catch up

things around our house have been so busy lately! after Christmas we went to Philadelphia for the American Spaniel Club show and Paul did our portraits again (the one with the green background). that's me in front, Tegan to the left and Colin to the right. mom bribed us with liver brownies to sit still!!

In Feb we were off to Baltimore to show, we rooted for our friends in Westminster and last weekend we went back to Md for another show! we get a 3 week reprieve and then we have 3 weekend long shows in April! I'm not entered as much as I used to be since mom and dad are trying to finish the pups first and dad is now doing all of the showing because I'm going to have a human baby brother this summer!! mom's feet and legs were kind of sore for a bit so she did the grooming and sent dad in the ring with the pups. She's in her 2nd trimester now and feeling lots better though! she said she wants to show me in April! I like showing. it's the grooming of my feet I'm less than thrilled about. ;)

well, I hope everyone is having a good time and I'm sure looking forward to warm weather coming up!!!

Christmas has gone to the dogs

Well, I don't know about you guys but I had a great christmas! The pups and I got to go to Grandmas for 3 days (she's good at spoiling us and sneaking us bits of turkey)! we got lots of toys and chewies for Christmas as well as bones and treats from both sets of "grandparents" and from mom and dad! the migratory duck that squawks is the favorite among the 3 of us and we play tug of war to see who gets to keep it (for a little while anyway)! I even got Christmas cards from some of my puppies (mom sent them presents too)! But I think the best part was that mom and dad were off for almost a week to stay home and play with us all day long! Hope you had a great holiday!!!

Countdown to Christmas

so much new stuff in the house now! I've thoroughly checked over the tree and each of the presents.....though mom keeps an eye on me because just ONCE when I was a PUPPY I chewed open her sister-in-laws gift and made a bit of a mess with the Victoria's Secret shower gel on the carpet. now if I would have known one of those gifts had Hickory Farms summer sausages in it....I would have chosen that one instead!!! big mistake on my part!)

I saw mom wrapping up the presents to send to each of my puppies at their new homes. they each got 2 toys and some rawhides and a Christmas card from all of us. I saw extras in the box so I'm guessing they're for me and the kids. Mom wouldn't let us play with them yet though. that's ok. I know I'll be getting lotsa toys and goodies from the "grandparents" and Mama Beth (my breeder). I can't wait until mom makes turkey brownies with the leftover Christmas turkey! those things are great!!!

ok, time to go take a nap again and wait for the folks to get home from work. Happy Howlidays!!!
