Lately, I feels like I've become a hall monitor or sumthin' fur the kitties-- see, I is charged with breakin' up da kitty kerfluffles.

Dem goofy cats don't even know what's to kerfluffle over.... ya pups know what I mean-- important things, like who gets to sit in a lap or a toy or food -- no, dey kerfluffle over dumb stuff like cat trees, and litter boxes, and I don't know, just walkin' around!!

Cats!! Who can unnerstand dem? Not me!

But I don't like when Maurice da Giant picks on ole Jez or poor Charlie so's I runs in dere where dey is kerflufflin', and stands in between 'em until dey breaks it up and quits.

So ya can call me Sheriff Finley (dat has a better ring dan hall monitor, I thinks...)

We's been gettin' lotsa walks, which is fun, and today I got a new toy, just because!! It are a tiger, da body is kinda flat but da head has a squeakie. As usual, Whitley wanted my toy even though she got a leopard one. If I had da leopard, she would want it. Usually, she wants whatevfur is in my mouth.

Today is Texas Independence Day-- da day us Texians celebrate our fight for freedom from Mexico and our bein' our own country for almost a decade! God Bless Texas and Sam Houston! Remember da Alamo! Remember Goliad!

I know all 'bout that sheriffin' stuffs. My lil brofur, Novi like to bother the other kitty, Ingen (she don' likes me-SIGH). When the kitties starts their kerflufflin' I's on top of it & makes 'em stop.

Mazy, your Momma is right... dere is nuthin' as good as Texas barbeque... my Momma likes to barbeque and I always has to snoopervise... it are an important job cuz ya never knows if some sneaky neighbor cat or squirrel or sumthin' might try ta get in da backyard and steal da meatz!!

Breaking up cat jobs are more dan a full time job round here, dat's why me and you's both gotta do it. And I are pretty sure I is sheriff and you is just my deputy.
