What a Pawsome weekend weather wise! I took my walk later in the day on Saturday because mom and dad had get their snow tires off their cars. Boy, was I glad we waited! Mom had planned for us to take the nature trail. We were walking down Winter Street when I saw two people and a dog up ahead. I couldn't believe my eyes!! It was Copley!!! I hadn't seen Copley since my birthday party! I almost pulled daddy off his feet. Plans quickly changed and I got to walk with Copley down the river trail. We went passed the rocks this time. Copley and I had a lot of fun sniffing everything. He has a good nose too. Our moms and dads talked in human language and Copley and I caught up in our own way. I was sad when we ended up having to part ways. I hope I see him again soon.

On Sunday we went hiking up Mt. Misery. I don't know why they call it that but that is the name. I had a lot of fun. We didn't exactly climb a mountain but we did explore the wooded trails all around it. There were a lot of hills to climb though. Mom said that climbing hills is good for your butt. I don't know about mom, but my butt is just fine thank you! We did meet a husky puppy on the trails. He was nice. We also met a black lab as we were heading for the car. It was a nice change of scenery and a good workout.

My boyfriend, GT was back in surgery this morning. His incision was very ugly and he was oozing fluid. The doctors were afraid that there was more tissue damage and wanted to check. They still haven't diagnosed anything and cancer is still a fear. Please continue to pray for him. Mom was hoping to visit him in the hospital today with aunt Carla, but I don't think he will be up for it. We are waiting now for any news. Mom took me for a nice walk on the river trail. It was hot outside. I was panting. Mom wouldn't let me drink from the puddles. I was glad to get home to my water bowl. Mom said she will bring water next time.

The mail came and we received our information package from Greyhounds In Gettysburg! Mom was reading it over. She likes to plan our activities. I am getting excited. I hope that GT is home and OK by the time we leave.

Mom got a call from Aunt Carla. Aunt Carla was crying on the phone and want me and mom to come for a visit. We jumped in the car and mom drove us. I had fun running around the yard with Gill and the Italian Greyhounds. It was hot out so Aunt Carla brought out a big bowl of cool water. Mom and Aunt Carla sat on the deck and enjoyed the sun. I would go from the yard to the deck to the yard again. Mom said it was 73 degrees out! Aunt Carla is visiting GT tonight at the hospital. She we let us know any news.
