Yesterday was a wonderful day! Mom and dad took me for a long walk on Winter Street. I haven't been able to go there for most of the Winter because of all the ice. Now that Spring is here, I can go for my walks there again. The river trail still has ice and snow. It will be another week or so before that is ready.

When it came time for my evening walk, mom and dad had me get in the car! At first I was afraid I might be going to Boston again! Mom told me not to worry and that I would like where we were going. I laid down on the street and tried to relax. When the car stopped, I looked out my window and I knew where I was! It was Gates Pond, the Hudson, MA reservoir! Less than a minute later, Aunt Carla drove up with Gill and GT!!! We got to take another long walk around the pond. It is about a 3 mile loop but mom said I probably went 4 or 5 miles! Parts of the trail were muddy but most of the snow was gone. Only a few spots still had snow. Daddy let me off leash with Gill. We ran and sniffed and had a wonderful time! GT had to stay on his leash because he gets scared of people. I stayed close to mom and dad for the most part. If I went too far, mom would call me and I would come right back. We were about half way around when Gill asked me if I wanted to race! I said "Sure!" We took off like rockets! We ran up the trail, turned around and ran back to our humans. We did this 3 or 4 times at full speed! I think I won!!! It was fun!! I felt bad for GT because he couldn't run with us. We met some other dogs and humans on the trail too. One was a German Shepherd Puppy named Zoe. She liked to lick me in the face. I was sad when daddy put the leash back on. I knew we were almost back to the car. Gill got leashed too. I had so much fun! I slept very well last night!
