Arrival Story:
We were dropping of my mother's friend at her house and she happened to be a dog breeder. Before we drove away, the lady asked us if we would like to see a baby dachshund. We agreed and when we saw her, we knew that she had to live with us. It took and still takes a while for my Dad to get used to her, but my mom and sister Brooke, love her to bits!
Bio:
Sophie was born on May 12, 2007. Her mother and father were pure bred miniature dachshunds. Sophie was the runt of her litter and was the last to be adopted (by me!) Sophie is such a little bundle of joy to be around. She instantly loves anyone she's around, even our cat Lilly! Sophie can adapt well to any environment, as long as she is loved and given LOTS of attention!
