This is my Valentines poem
For someone so dear
The moment you saw me
I had stolen your heart
I licked poppa’s face
And that was the start
From that moment on
You filled me with glee
You taught me neat tricks
And where to go pee
I don’t always eat
And I bark in your ear
My butt wiggles and shakes
Whenever you’re near
I follow you around
Where ever you go
I’m like your shadow
Just so you know
We always snuggle
On the bed or the couch
I’m not like my brother
He’s such a grouch
I stay focused on you
When you give a command
And I lick your tears
‘Cause I do understand
I’ve gone to work with you
On so many days
And gave your boss kisses
To help get you a raise
There are so many things
That I could say
To honor my momma
On this special day
I’ll just say that I woof you
I’m always your friend
Rest my head on your lap
Where forever I’ll spend

Thinkin' of Santa Paws

Today's cold and rainy. The heater's not working, so brother and I are snuggling up to keep warm. So, I'm lying on the couch thinkin' about Santa Paws. Will he come this year? I've been a good girl. I helped teach my lil brother the way he's supposed to be, I even was extra gentle when he came back from the vet having some kind of surgery thing to remove some "boy parts", whatever that's all about.
I see my stocking hung on the fireplace mantle. Will Santa come and fill it with toys and treats and bones? Visions of BullySticks, Snausages and squeaky toys are dancin' through my head!

Oh please Santa.....I will watch the fireplace in hopes you come! But please, let me know it's you before you come down.....it's my job to protect the house, and my lil brother doesn't think before he barks.
We promise to leave doggie cookies for you.

I got a brother!

So, momma and poppa brought home this little guy over the weekend. They said he's my lil brother now and that I have to be good to him and teach him some stuff. He's a tiny thing, but they say he's gonna be bigger than me, so I should be nice to him now. He steals my toys, I'm not sure what to think about that. He tries to eat my food and I'm ok with that, but momma comes and takes it away, she says he's too young to eat my food....I don't know what that's all about.
I hope we're gonna be best friends! I was getting lonely.....the cats don't seem to like me much. At least this lil guy follows me around and wants to play. Ok, gonna take a nap now.......

Red Rock

OMG! Momma & pappa took me to a new place last Saturday called Red Rock to go hiking....wow!!!! God sure did make some beautiful landscapes. I saw mountains that looked like they were made from clumps of clay, and others that looked like they've been around FOR-EVA! Gosh it was beautiful. I even got to smell all new kinds of animal poo! It was great!!!!
