Arrival Story:
A friend of mine knew someone who's dog had puppys and asked if we would want one. We said yes. He was our first puppy. They gave him to us to soon I think. He fit right in the palm of your hand.He was so small. What a great pal he was.

We had to have him put down. He was having seizures about every week or so then one day he had about five or six. I stayed home from work that day to be with him. Then about 4 in the afternoon when pappa got home we cried and took him to the vet and had him put to sleep. He was the best dog we ever could of had. We really miss him. He was 15 years old.

I was remembering some of the fun we used to have with good old Mr. Beasley. Several years ago we went on a camping trip to Fort ChurchHill,Nev.
It is areally cool place to visit. Lots of history there. We were taking a drive down this old dirt road and we came to a heard of cattle all in the road and every where. We honked the horn, but they didn't care about that.
As soon as Mr. Beasley realized that there were cows he started barking and going crazy. Now those cows said lets get out of here. It was so funny to wacth those cows run in every direction. We never laughed so hard at a good job well done from our faithful friend.

We sure do miss him. July will make one year that he has been gone.
You are always in our hearts...

Mr. Beasley was born In August of 1989. He was so tiny. I think he was given to us too soon, we had to put his food in a blender so he could drink it. He was our first puppy so a lot of his training was trial and error.

What a great dog he was. He loved to go swimming. He was always ready to get the stick. He loved to catch small pepples in his mouth. I think he thought they were treats or something. He always spit them out.

We had him for 15 years. He started geting real sick. Having seizures. Really bad ones. So in June we had him put down. That was the worst thing I ever had to do. We stayed with him for the entire time. Lots of tears. We had him cremated. I am very glad that I did that. I can talk to him whenever I want.

Life was so strange without him. He was on medicine and it took a lot of time trying to get him to take it. He never liked the same wet food twice. I would try and hide the medicine in the food. It just wasn't the same without him.

I started looking for a puppy. I found Monkey. Got her at nine weeks, so that kept me very busy and that's what I needed. She is seven months now and doing very well. I think we have the potty training down. That is so good.

She helped heal my heart. She is very different from Mr. Beasley but I sure do love her.
