Arrival Story:
I found Sparky on a web page called "Puppy Hollywood". He was flown by Northwest Airlines from Tulsa Oklahoma , with a stop in freezing Minneapolis Minnesota to Bozeman Montana. We had a long drive after a full day of of travel, a vet visit and a trip to Pet Smart. It was love at first sight!! We are best "Pals" and go everywhere together. He is a great little boy!

Bio:
Sparky was just a 19 week old male Morkie (1/2 Yorkshire Terrier- 1/2 Maltese ), when he came into my life. After a long one day flight, he adapted from the mild climate in Arkansas to the wild, frigid and bitter cold of Yellowstone National Park. He was easy to house train with buffalo jerky treats. Crate training is another matter, we gave up on that. He finally came to grips with going to the bathroom outside easily in sub-zero and very deep snow. It is just so cold up here in Yellowstone....but boys will be boys...we pee outside together. He still hates his crate and has "separation anxiety" for sure...he just want's to be with me every minute and he is. He was like a new born baby that wanted to be held or sit in my lap constantly. His affection and dedication to me is without measure. He is very intelligent and inquisitive, loves to play and doesn't mind taking warm baths. After a bath he gets all revved up and runs around like a lightning bolt. A good game of tug of war is a favorite of his and he loves to growl and shake the heck out of his full size teddy bear and other array of toys. If my attention level doesn't satisfy him... he will untie my shoes... or tear up a magazine! He dislikes the bitter cold up here... but who and what doesn't? Minus -*17 below zero and he will still run around and explore with a warm coat on in the deep powder snow. I carry him around on really cold outing inside my down coat, even while we run the snow blower. He seems unafraid of loud sounds, which is great because I am in the fireworks business... hence his name "Sparky". We couldn't wait till the sweet and mild mountain summer arrived. He certainly loves exploring Yellowstone, Grand Teton National Parks and the surrounding mountains with me. He has turned out to be a superb fly fisherman and adventurist! It is amazing that Sparky hates Buffalo, Elk, Moose and will chase them without hesitation, but he is deathly afraid of Chihuahuas. I love this little boy and can't imagine life without him. In two weeks I fell in love with my little Morkie. Now he is 1 year old and has seen more than most humans will ever see in a lifetime. He is a Registered Service Dog trained for Hearing Impaired. He loves to fly and travel. We just returned from 10 days and crazy nights in Las Vegas. We stayed at the Wynn Encore in a resort suite. He enjoyed the casinos playing Wheel Of Fortune slot machines, Roulette and going potty and poo-poo on the strip. We even took a tour of Hoover Dam! He is a special boy and one "Lucky Dog".
