Arrival Story:
He became my first Great Dane! I have Always wanted a Great Dane since I was a teenager when a friend of mine had a fawn male. We moved into our new house big enough for their size so we decieded to buy our first dane. I found an add in the local newspaper I went and checked out the litter and fell in love with a little fawn boy! He was the one pup that came to me over and over, so I picked Him...actually he picked me! But It wasn't for another 3 weeks before we brought him home. WOW for the first 9 months he was a handfull! But I wouldn't have traded him for the world! ~~My heart is broken...Duke has crossed the rainbow bridge very early in his life...March 30, 2006 at the young age of 3 1/2. We miss YOU so much! Some day we will cuddle again! Love Ya! Your Mommy...
